Tax relief: study of the legal requirements to possibly acquire before signing the deed to enable the buyer to benefit from more favourable taxation or to save money.


In Italy the regulatory framework concerning the taxation of those who buy real estate is really complex. It is all the more complex if the buyer has not the Italian citizenship. There is only one certainty: each case is a case in itself and must be studied to understand whether there are the requirements for having access to tax relief or, in any case, whether these requirements can be acquired by the buyer before the conclusion of the final contract. In some cases measures need to be adopted to avoid double taxation. All this requires the assistance of a Notary Public and a Lawyer who are objectively "third parties" with respect to the seller and the Real Estate Agency.
